Crowdism is a term coined to describe a belief in the wisdom of crowds to catalyse change faster.
This has been written about in the book The Wisdom of Crowds and has a Wikipedia entry.
Ratemyteachers uses it as a principle to judge which teachers are good and bad.
It has wide relevance for catalysing change. Anyone want to write the book "Crowdism" that espouses the philosphy that crowds are wise? Their formation should be encouraged and trusted.

O RLY?
Crowdism is the doctrine that Crowds should rule and are superior to small leadership groups.
I'm opposed to it.
Wikipedia's "wisdom of crowds" meant "wisdom of 50,000 graduate students working alone, stoned, in their apartments after dark."
